How do you know if a teacher is qualified? What if their personality or teaching style doesn’t fit with my child’s? Will the teacher be actively engaged in helping my child reach their goals? Can I observe lessons? Do we even have time for lessons? These are just a few of the many questions you may be asking yourself. Our goal is to provide high quality music education in a fun, productive way that makes the process of taking lessons easy for you.

Our teachers are the core of the academy. We have taken great pride in interviewing, screening, and inviting each of the teachers here. All of our teachers have university training and professional experience. They are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you achieve them. We are confident we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly, and are focused on teaching you the style of music that you want to learn.

Your schedule is demanding. We know how difficult it can be to find the “right” lesson time that fits the family schedule. Somewhere between soccer practice, play rehearsal, homework, and family time, you want to make time for music lessons. At the AMA, we strive to keep lesson times consistent, so you can predict and schedule activities accordingly. We also realize that transporting kids for place to place takes a lot of time and planning. We can help! We offer many different types of lessons in one place, so you only need to make one trip to maximize travel and time. We do the work of coordinating teachers and schedules so you don’t have to.
Life happens
We know that things don’t always go according to plan. People get sick, cars don’t start, unexpected events pop up…Not to worry! We offer free monthly make up classes to catch up on any missed lessons that may have occurred. Even if you didn’t miss any classes, you are welcome to attend any of the classes for extra instructional time.
Conveniently Located in Downtown Appleton
Due to its central location, the AMA is a short walk to downtown shopping and dining. Have other little ones or just want a nice jog during your child’s lesson? City Park is only 2 blocks away. Parking is also a breeze! The AMA has ample parking and you’ll never heed to plug a meter. If you are dropping your child off for lessons, a covered ramp will keep your child protected from the elements as you use the convenient roundabout.
Your Child's Safety Is Extremely Important To Us
We do everything in our power to make sure your child has an outstanding experience. Every factor has been considered from carefully screening our teachers to the setup of each lesson room. In addition to their ability to teach and relate to students, all of our teachers have had background checks to ensure your child’s safety. There is also plenty of space in each studio for parents to sit in and observe lessons first hand. If you would like a little more separation, you can take advantage of the observation window on each studio door.

Moments of quiet can be incredibly hard to find. Take advantage of one of our lounges to enjoy a good book, work on your laptop, or just sit in peace.
