The Appleton Music Academy was created with the idea that finding a great teacher should be easy and very user friendly. We have taken the time to build a select group of educators that will take the guess work out of it for you. All of our teachers have been chosen because they are excellent educators, great performers, and (as importantly) outstanding people. The personal relationship between a teacher and a student is one of the critical factors of success. We strive to make sure students get great instruction and supportive encouragement. We take the time to match students with a teacher that will fit their needs best.
Making time for Lessons
We know that finding time for all of your family’s activities can be tough. We are here to make that a little easier! Your family can take multiple lessons at the same time to save you trips and extra travel time. You can drop off your students or park and work in one of our lounges.
Opportunities for growth
We offer students 2 recitals over the course of the year. This is a wonderful opportunity to work toward a tangible goal and perform in front of and audience. It builds confidence and gives family/friends a chance to watch you play. In addition to our weekly lessons, students can also take advantage of our free monthly make up classes. Theses classes offer an chance to get extra instructional time or make up for any lessons they may have missed.

Busy Schedule?
Your schedule is demanding. We know how difficult it can be to find the right lesson time that fits the family schedule. Somewhere between soccer practice, play rehearsal, homework, and family time, you want to make time for music lessons. We value your time! At the AMA, we strive to keep your lesson time consistent.
No Worries...
We know that things don’t always go according to plan. People get sick, cars don’t start, unexpected events pop up – not to worry! We offer monthly make up classes to catch up on any missed lessons that may have occurred. Even if you didn’t miss any classes, you are welcome to attend any of the classes as an added bonus!

Our teachers are the very core of the academy. We have taken great pride in interviewing, screening, and inviting each of the teachers here. All of our teachers have university training and/or extensive professional experience. They are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. We are confident we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and are focused on teaching you the style of music that you want to learn.
Save Time and Hassle
Transporting kids from place to place takes a lot of time and planning. We can help! We offer Piano, Guitar, Voice, Bass, and Drum lessons all in one location. One family can take multiple lessons on different instruments at the same time. This saves you a lot of hassle and gives you more time to enjoy your family.
Improve Confidence and Self-Esteem
One of the best ways for music students to improve confidence and self-esteem is to perform in front of an audience. Here at the Appleton Music Academy, we offer students two opportunities a year to perform on our school-wide recitals. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to do so. Family and friends never have to pay admission or any other related fees for those recitals.
Never Worry About Plugging a Meter or Finding a Parking Spot
The AMA has ample parking and you’ll never have to pay for it. If you are dropping your child off for lessons, a covered ramp will keep your child protected from the elements as you use the convenient roundabout.

Due to its central location, the AMA is a short walk to downtown shopping and dining. Have other little ones or just want a nice jog during your child’s lesson? City Park is only 2 blocks away.

Moments of quiet can be incredibly hard to find. Take advantage of one of our lounges to enjoy a good book, work on your laptop, or just sit in peace.
Worried About Long Term Contract?
We all know that kids get excited about a lot of different things. As a parent, it can be challenging to be supportive of your child’s dreams and still financially responsible. Every student at the AMA is on a month-to-month plan, so you won’t get locked into an extended length contract. If lessons continue to ignite a passion within your child, you can continue studying for as long as you would like. If after a period of time it looks like something else will work better for your child, you can discontinue lessons feeling good you gave it a chance. We also make it easy by using an automated payment system. You’ll never receive any bills in the mail and you’ll never need to send a check.
Your Safety is Extremely Important to us
We do everything in our power to make sure you have an outstanding experience. Every factor has been considered from carefully screening our teachers to the setup of each lesson room. In addition to their ability to teach and relate to students, all of our teachers have had background checks to ensure your child’s safety. There is also plenty of space in each studio for parents to sit in and observe lessons first hand. If you or your child would like a little more separation, you can take advantage of the observation windows on each studio door.
